Hélène is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Hélène was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in September. The oncology team at Saint-Étienne Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Hélène is 29, worked as a bakery worker until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Saint-Étienne Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
