Help Hauwa with an overdue gas bill before the rainy season
Help Hauwa cover an overdue gas bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.
🇳🇬 Nnewi, Anambra, Nigeria1,159 views
The gas account is 2 months behind. Hauwa received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Hauwa called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
Hauwa is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Hauwa's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $100 goes:
• Utility arrears: $30
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $50
Every share and every dollar helps.
