Help Hasan get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
An engineering corps veteran in Bristol needs help with a trained service dog and handler course after leaving service with a service-related knee injury.
🇬🇧 Bristol, England, United Kingdom2,862 views
Rubina served twelve years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2023 with a service-related knee injury. She has been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote comes to $3,250.
Rubina is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,450
• Essential household items: $500
• Training provider fees: $1,300
