She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $750. The registrar has said Halima can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Halima has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Halima would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
