Grand Rapids

I served four years in the infantry and was discharged in 2024 with hearing damage and PTSD. I have been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place. I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $3,750. I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing. I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden. Where the $3,750 goes: • Training provider fees: $2,850 • Transport to appointments: $500 • Essential household items: $400 Every share and every dollar helps. - Greyson

Updates from Greyson

Small update. $309 so far, I met with the provider and confirmed the amounts.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($161 in total) I met with the provider and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
