Surgery fund for Luca: septoplasty in Fort Worth

Luca was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in June. The surgeon at Fort Worth Regional Medical Center recommended septoplasty, and He is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,750, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $3,500 short.
my father has been in and out of Fort Worth Regional Medical Center since June. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Luca struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Luca won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
