Gabriella was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. The oncology team at Austin Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Gabriella is 45, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Austin Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $4,200 goes: • Transport to Austin Regional Medical Center: $790 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $570 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,840 Every share and every dollar helps.
