Gabriel was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in September. The oncology team at Buenos Aires Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Gabriel is 35, worked as a construction supervisor until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Buenos Aires Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
