Help Fikru with a gas fitter's skills: dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms
Fikru has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms, and can't afford a licensed gas fitter to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In June an inspector told me that my home has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $360 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $30.
The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.

So sorry you're going through this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
