Help Ellie keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
Ellie runs a volunteer pantry feeding 147 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Wednesday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 30 families, and now we feed 147 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 54% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the San Diego market and keep every receipt.
Each $55 feeds a family of four for a week.

Where the $3,750 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,800
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,100
• Baby formula and diapers: $630
• Refrigeration and electricity: $220
