Help Dustin get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
After twelve years of service, Dustin is raising funds for a trained service dog and handler course.

I served twelve years in the navy and was discharged in 2025 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote I have comes to $3,800.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $3,800 goes:
• Training provider fees: $1,600
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,200
• Transport to appointments: $400
• Essential household items: $600
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
