Help Donna restart a fish stall in Los Angeles after a fire in the building
A fish stall in Los Angeles needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a fire in the building.
🇺🇸 United States986 views
For twelve years I have run a fish stall in Los Angeles. In September, a fire in the building took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $1,350
• Initial stock: the first catch: $750
• Working capital for the first month: $400
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Take care, Donna. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Los Angeles.
