Help Diarmuid restart a small grocery stall in Limerick after the demolition of the market
Diarmuid lost a cold-storage unit to the demolition of the market and needs $4,000 to reopen a small grocery stall and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a small grocery stall in Limerick. In February, the demolition of the market took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $4,000 goes:
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $670
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $2,950
• Shop repairs and licensing: $380
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Diarmuid.
Sure. The biggest one is initial stock: fresh produce, $670. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
This could happen to any of us. Please keep us posted. All the best
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Cox's Bazar
