Help Daniel keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for families facing hunger in Port Harcourt.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Tuesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 30 families, and now we feed 94 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 33% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Port Harcourt market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $200 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $90
• Baby formula and diapers: $75
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Mandurah
You're not alone, Daniel. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Please keep us posted. Take care.
