Help Damilola pay for a craniotomy at Lagos University Hospital
After endometriosis requiring surgery, Damilola was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Damilola was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in July. The surgeon at Lagos University Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $470, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $350 short.
my mother has been in and out of Lagos University Hospital since July. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $470 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Damilola struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Damilola won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $350 goes:
• Post-operative medication: $55
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $240
• Travel and lodging for the family: $55
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Damilola?
Thank you. If you're in Lagos I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. I'll keep the page updated.
Wishing you the best, Nkechi. Wishing Damilola a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My husband and I read this together. Take care.
How is Damilola doing now?
Keep going. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Nagpur this morning.
Wishing you the best, Nkechi. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Take care, Nkechi. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
Hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Poznań so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this, Nkechi. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My husband and I read this together.
