Oscar is my rabbit of eleven years. On 17 July we rushed to Rio de Janeiro Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $550. They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Rio de Janeiro Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Oscar's recovery. Where the $550 goes: • Emergency surgery: $240 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $145 • Medication and follow-up visits: $45 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $120 I hope life is good to you.
