Help Chhaya get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
A medical corps veteran in Coimbatore needs help with a first month of rent and transport to job interviews after leaving service with post-traumatic stress.
🇮🇳 India243 views
Harsh served four years in the medical corps and was discharged in 2023 with post-traumatic stress. He has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote comes to $500.
Harsh is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $500 goes:
• Training provider fees: $370
• Essential household items: $105
• Transport to appointments: $25
