Help Angel restart a neighborhood bakery in Makati after a long illness and repossession
Angel lost a commercial oven to a long illness and repossession and needs $400 to reopen a neighborhood bakery and support the family.

For three years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Makati. In August, a long illness and repossession took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $70
• Working capital for the first month: $40
• Replacing a commercial oven: $290
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($261 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Angel
Quick update: $311 raised so far (78%). we've started the first stage. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Update from Makati: I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing. We're at 20% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

Sending love. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Makati.
Thanks for sharing this, Angel. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Mansoura
