Amit is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Amit was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in May. The oncology team at Mumbai University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Amit is 32, worked as a tailor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mumbai University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Transport to Mumbai University Hospital: $115
