Amber is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at the Spokane Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $6,200. The registrar has said Amber can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Amber has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Amber would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Amber isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Spokane Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
