Spokane
Amber is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at the Spokane Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $6,200. The registrar has said Amber can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Amber has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Amber would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Amber isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Spokane Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $6,200 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $2,400 • Final term tuition: $3,350 • Exam and lab fees: $300 • Textbooks and materials: $150 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

What's already covered and what's the $6,200 for?

          • Kai M. PayneOwnerAnswer

Outstanding tuition balance is $2,400 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.

Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
