4 rounds of treatment are planned at Quetta Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Afshan was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in December. The oncology team at Quetta Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Afshan is 36, worked as a taxi driver until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Quetta Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,100 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $570 • Scans and lab work: $185 • Transport to Quetta Cancer Centre: $145 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $60 • Household costs while unable to work: $140 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
