Adriana was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in March. The oncology team at Girona Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Adriana is 37, worked as a hairdresser until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Girona Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
