Let's build a sensory garden for children with autism together in Pune
Volunteers in Pune are raising $250 for a sensory garden for children with autism at the Jacaranda vacant lot.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $250.
It will serve about 116 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $250 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Materials: $165
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
