Help Rohit keep the the Second Helping pantry stocked
Rohit runs a volunteer pantry feeding 394 families; this fund restocks shelves for the winter.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Thursday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 394 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 41% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Mangaluru market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $450 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $180
• Refrigeration and electricity: $20
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $250

Best of luck, Rohit. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Santos so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Mangaluru.
Take care. More neighborhoods should do this. Take care.
