Addison was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in January. The oncology team at the Los Angeles Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Addison is 40, worked as a farmer until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Los Angeles Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $2,200 goes: • Scans and lab work: $1,200 • Transport to the Los Angeles Oncology Institute: $640 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $360 Thanks for being kind about this. - Mason
