Electricity shut-off notice: help Ryan pay $800
A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Ryan needs $800 before February.

The electricity account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on February unless I pay $800. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $160 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

• Heating arrears: $520
• Reconnection and late fees: $80
• Down payment on a payment plan: $200
