Help Adalynn through 12 rounds of treatment for stage 2 breast cancer
Supporting Adalynn through stage 2 breast cancer: medication, transport to Liverpool Cancer Centre, and living costs while She can't work.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom633 views
Adalynn was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in May. The oncology team at Liverpool Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Adalynn is 58, worked as a nurse until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Liverpool Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $5,500 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $310
• Transport to Liverpool Cancer Centre: $960
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,230
With deep gratitude,
Kai
