Abdullah was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in June. The oncology team at Mohammedia University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Abdullah is 36, worked as a bank teller until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mohammedia University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $2,500 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $300 • Transport to Mohammedia University Hospital: $145 • Scans and lab work: $260 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,795 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
