Help Aarav replace the suspension and return to work
Without my motorbike Aarav can't work; a $250 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 5 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $15
• suspension replacement (parts): $195
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $40
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Updates from Aarav
Small update. $9 so far, the first invoice got paid this week.
Thank you all. We're at 2% now ($4). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for road tax and insurance renewal is now scheduled.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Aarav!
Towing and inspection is $15 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Good question.
thinking of you, Aarav. Hope the shop reopens soon. All the best.
Hang in there. Your post was clear and honest. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Montréal
