Helene's final semester of a law degree in Karlsruhe
Helene has worked and saved for five years to study a law degree; a $6,050 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Helene is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a law degree at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $6,050.
The registrar has said Helene can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Helene has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Helene would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Helene isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
