Weekly meals for elderly neighbors in Aurangabad
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Aurangabad.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 113 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 55% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Aurangabad market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $200 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $50
• Baby formula and diapers: $35
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $115
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Vaibhav.
Refrigeration and electricity is $50 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for looking so closely.
Wishing you peace, Vaibhav. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
