Hazel's a foreign object blocking the intestines: help with the vet bill
Hazel, Zhi's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $2,400.

Hazel is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 30 August we rushed to the Bronx Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,400.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Bronx Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $250
• Emergency surgery: $1,800
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $350
I hope life is good to you.
