For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 307 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $450 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $55 • Materials: $320 • Permits and inspections: $75 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending strength, Claudia. Looking forward to the next update. After 7 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
