I'm caring for my father, who's 93. After the death of his spouse Tatsuya can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Tatsuya desperately wants to stay at home. I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Tatsuya worked all of his life as a carpenter, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $3,450 goes: • Medication and prescriptions: $480 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $185 • Part-time carer (eight months): $2,785 If you're reading this, thank you.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Tatsuya

          • Taro OkadaOwnerAnswer

Sure. The biggest one is medication and prescriptions, $480. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. It helps to be asked.
