Uyên needs a braille note-taker - help us make it happen
Uyên needs a braille note-taker that the health system will not fund; the cost is $400.

I live with an amputation below the knee. My occupational therapist at Hồ Chí Minh City General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $400.
My current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $400 goes:
• braille note-taker: $300
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $40
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

So sorry you're going through this. This could happen to any of us. Greetings from Eindhoven
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Uyên
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. braille note-taker is the biggest at $300. Ask me anything else.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Thane
Take care. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick.
