Taras has worked and saved for four years to study a degree in civil engineering; a $600 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Taras is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Kharkiv University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600.
The registrar has said Taras can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Taras has a 3.8 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Taras would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Taras isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $600 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $20
• Exam and lab fees: $70
• Final term tuition: $510
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
