Graciela's stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment fund
Graciela is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇲🇽 Ciudad de México, Ciudad de México, Mexico1,172 views
Graciela was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at Ciudad de México Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Graciela is 44, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ciudad de México Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,900
• Scans and lab work: $360
• Transport to Ciudad de México Regional Medical Center: $125
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $210
• Household costs while unable to work: $555
With deep gratitude,
Patricia

Thinking of you, Patricia. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless!
Good luck, Patricia. Hope the doctors have good news.
