Get Wagner back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund
Wagner drives for a living in Recife, and a broken radiator and cooling system has stopped all income for 6 weeks.
🇧🇷 Pernambuco, Brazil787 views
I make my living with my ride-share car. 6 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $500 goes:
• radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $310
• Labor charges: $55
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $90
• Towing and inspection: $45
Thank you so much.
