Get Teresa back on the road: my pickup repair fund
Teresa drives for a living in Los Angeles, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 7 weeks.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States1,113 views
I make my living with my pickup. 7 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $2,050. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $2,050 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,500
• Labor charges: $240
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $210
• Towing and inspection: $100
Thank you for reading my story.

Wishing you the best, Teresa. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Los Angeles.
rooting for you. Hope you get there. Greetings from Limoges.
