I make my living with my ride-share car. 8 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $60. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.

• Labor charges: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Towing and inspection: $5

Small update. $79 so far, I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.
Quick update: $54 raised so far (90%). the plan for labor charges is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
