Get Mariana back on the road: my food truck repair fund
Mariana's my food truck is Mariana's only source of income and needs a suspension replacement costing $1,250.
🇺🇸 Miami, Florida, United States2,517 views
I make my living with my food truck. 3 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Labor charges: $310
• Towing and inspection: $85
• suspension replacement (parts): $855
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
