I make my living with my school-run minibus. 6 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $500 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $370
• Labor charges: $60
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $55
• Towing and inspection: $15
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Pattaya.
Hope things get better soon, Kamol. Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Chonburi. I'll ask around and let you know.
You're not alone, Kamol. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Los Angeles
