Join the Free Community Meal: Adeline needs helpers on Wednesday

We're short of hands for the Free Community Meal; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 350 neighbors in Hialeah. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Great help in a difficult time

Perfect example of someone making a real difference. They took time out of their busy schedule to help me and never made me feel like a burden.

This is what community support looks like. They didn't just offer generic advice; they provided personalized help tailored to my specific situation.
