Get José back on the road: my tuk-tuk repair fund
José drives for a living in Irapuato, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 5 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 5 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $300 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $45
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $50
• transmission replacement (parts): $205
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope things get better soon, José. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Wish I lived closer to Jabalpur so I could bring a meal.
Sending good thoughts, José. Shared this with my family. Blessings
