I make my living with my pickup. 10 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $350 goes: • Road tax and insurance renewal: $65 • rear axle replacement (parts): $250 • Towing and inspection: $35 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Irene
