Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Giovanna
Help Giovanna regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇮🇹 Lecce, Puglia, Italy441 views
Giovanna has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Giovanna can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Giovanna's family will cook lunch for the team.
Glad we found this place.

Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Lecce
thinking of you. Hope this works out for you. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Columbus.
Thinking of you and your family, Giorgia. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Take care.
Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Houston donated after I showed her your page. All the best
hope it all works out. Looking forward to the next update. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
