Get Ikenna back on the road: my tuk-tuk repair fund
Ikenna's my tuk-tuk is Ikenna's only source of income and needs a rear axle replacement costing $150.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Nigeria452 views
I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 5 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $150 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $10
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $40
• rear axle replacement (parts): $100
Glad we found this place.

Sending love, Ikenna. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
is there anything that isn't money that would help Ikenna?
Thank you. If you're in Ikeja I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. I'll keep the page updated.
Stay strong. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We're a small family in Nagpur but we're thinking of you. God bless!
