Rasha was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in August. The surgeon at Jeddah Regional Medical Center recommended knee replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $6,750, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $4,800 short.
my wife has been in and out of Jeddah Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $6,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Rasha struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Rasha won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.

Sure. The biggest one is surgeon and anesthesia fees, $1,350. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one.
