Get Hudson back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund

Hudson drives for a living in Tacoma, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 7 weeks.

Tacoma
I make my living with my ride-share car. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $800. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $800 goes: • Towing and inspection: $65 • Labor charges: $390 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $345 With deep gratitude, Hudson

This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Leeds but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Tacoma.
